The S-11 parking lots by the Dean Dome will be the designated event parking lots for runners. There will be plenty of room for everyone to park there, so do not park anywhere else on campus as you may be towed. The walk from the S-11 lots to Kenan Stadium takes approximately 10 minutes and volunteers will be available to assist you with directions. Please use Gate 6 to enter the Stadium (see parking map).

Raleigh Rd between Country Club Rd and the intersection of 15-501 & Rt 54 will be closed from 7:00-10:00 AM on race day. Give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination if you are driving through Chapel Hill on race morning. Detour signage will be posted. Be sure to check the event website on race week for important race day detours!

All bathrooms on the South side of Kenan Stadium will be available on race morning. This will be the same side of the stadium as race day packet pick-up.

Minimum Pace Requirement

Participants must maintain a minimum pace of 12:00/mile to participate in this event. This rule is in place to enable police to reopen the major roads used for race course. Race officials will be following the back of the pack to enforce this rule. In the event that you are unable to maintain the minimum pace, you will asked to use sidewalks and either complete the remainder of the course unassisted by police, or use the cue sheet provided by race officials that details the shortest walk back to the race site. If you have questions about this rule, please see a race official at the expo. Thank you for your understanding.
